This is hard, because I feel like she has so many strengths and talents. But, I am always amazed at how she can get things done. Lately, seeing just a little of what she's doing with school, family, church and work amazes me. I'm so proud of you, Heidi!

I know she's a nurse and she's quite the high performance student now, but I'm going to go with mother of 10 kids! - and giving them all a love of music that she can share with them.

I have always appreciated her determination to work through things and get them done. I learned from Heidi that the power of one is great.

I think that one of Heidi's strengths is being passionate. She voices what she feels strongly about.

Beyond having 10 kids, Heidi is very good at enjoying them. She always has sweet stories to tell about what one of them said or did. And now that talent extends to her grandkids, of course:) I think she recognizes those moments and cherishes them because she is sensitive to the spirit and has a soft heart. Come to think of it, I've heard her tell other sweet stories about those outside of her family.

I have always admired Heidi's determination. If she sets her mind to something, she will get it done. I have always known how intelligent she is and musically talented, also. She plays the viola, flute and piano. I love accompanying her when she performs. There is always great feeling shared when we play together.
She is a great mother. Her children love her and I think they work harder because they know she knows that they can.
I am proud to be her mother.

Well said by everyone! Heidi stands firm on principle even as circumstances change. I think of the many talents listed above with Heidi, but think that their combined use in her role as mother is most significant. Through her I have a great, loving brother-in-law, whose love and support has always been a blessing and many beloved nieces, nephews and even grand-nieces and nephews. I also think she has a talent for persistence. I count Heidi as one of many examples of successful marriages involving spouses with differing backgrounds whose differing strengths combine to be more than a simple sum of those strengths.

Heidi is such a great example to me of the scripture I just taught a lesson about last Sunday: D&C 58:26-27. She is always anxiously engaged in a good cause, bringing to pass much righteousness. And she is motivated by charity, the pure love of Christ, which is what the point of my lesson was. My goal is to procrastinate less and just do it - like Heidi does! I have always admired all the things she makes and does for her children and the rest of us. Posted by Sheri

I think it is her ability to love unconditionally. I know things can be rough, but it is always great to come over for Sunday dinner and see the way she lights up when we get her hugs. It has also been a blast to see her interact with Abby. I am beginning to see how you can really love someone unconditionally - of course, Abby isn't a teenager yet, so I'll really have to look at the way mom didn't kill me as a good example ;)
